Drama makes the game even more fun?
Probably not.

i don't know if this would apply to you. but after doing reflections about myself why would a game such as this can change my mood dramatically.
1. My competitive nature. I don't like being kicked around by other players that's why I invest so much of my time, efforts and resources to keep my account strong if not unbeatable.
2. Since I invested so much of my time, efforts and resources in the game, it would be natural to get frustrated when you lose the top spot or being beaten in a fight.
3. You can make or break friendships in the game. So whenever you gain a new friend, you try your best to earn their trust and keep it. In fact, we try our best to make people trust us especially if we do business with other players. That's why whenever someone accused us of being a cheater, a liar and/or a fraud, we go through the trouble of arguing with someone that you didn't do this, or didn't do that. blah.. blah.. blah.. and if nobody listens to you, or believes you, obviously you get upset and frustrated because of our pride.
4. The simplest excuse is because you just want to have a justified reason for attacking someone online, and make it an all-out war..
Besides, this is a strategy based, role-playing game, and we're supposed to be bad gangsters, and simple things should provoke us because that's the way of the gangsters, right? and i quite agree with blueberrykush, it makes the game more fun. Especially if you can sweep the floor using the face of the person who started all your troubles.

I am too nice for the game i guess lol. I try to not hurt anyone but i attack like a mad woman. most of the players i hit continuously I apologize to. I try to be friends with every body but there are some who make it difficult at times. I am not by nature competitive but I have found recently that in the game I have become so. I guess after so long of being walked all over my friends who kept telling me to get mad finally broke through. I dont see it as being mad though actually I am usually listening to music and dancing in my chair when I attack. I completely agree with a lot of what was said here. thank you hun for your time and words

I'm not sure how the game goes in JHL, but during the days when I still play exmafia.com players attack each other a lot weather online or offline, especially when I was able to get on the attack ladder. That's how I became competitive and learned how to attack mercilessly. but if a player complained about the online attack, i just chat with them until they are able to get out of the hospital or i help them out whenever if they need it.. online attacks then was such a big issue because hospitalization time was from 20-30mins. And it was also a time when there was no limit on your attacks to a particular player. Imagine all the drama there was..
And no problem, I don't play the games anymore that's why I can only relate to certain topic and this one is something I truly understand..

I love it. Mr. Man is already working on a farm game, lol, so now he can add Drama Town to his future plans...oh, y'all didn't know about the farm game? Yeah, Gen2 has nothing to do with attacking or strategy, it is all farming and now will include lots of drama, as well.

I wanna know why everybody keeps complaining about why some people take this game too far, F*** IT!, IT DOESNT MATTER, people do what they wanna do, if they wanna whine and complain about crap then let em and just ignore them, those people should just quit the game if they want to complain about everything. Thats really all I gotta say about that.

Online hits during the time I played were such a big issue. we didn't have the 3 attacks per hour, and hospital time was 20-30mins. We could keep a person from playing for a day or more. Those players would start complaining and spread some dumb rumors about you. But unfortunately, everyone he would tell about you either believes that its not true or just want to kiss your so they will inform you about the rumors he's spreading. So you beat him up for a week or two. Finally, he would come here in the forums with his drama for the amusement of everyone.

Some players would complain about the online hits, if they approached me like it wasn't such a big deal, I help them out all through out the round as much as I can. But if they are the type who gets down right rude, me and my gangmates never stop attacking them until they beg us to stop.. LOL!
I could understand the frustration to be hit online, but I don't believe it to be a justifiable reason to be rude to your attacker. What I do whenever someone attacks me online, I would ask them a favor if they could wait for me to go offline. Most of the time they're alright with that. If they find it quite unacceptable, then I just find something else to do while I spend time at the hospital. It saves us (the online attacker & myself) the trouble of playing cat and mouse. But what kind of a gangster am I if I don't take my revenge, right? As patiently as I can, I just accept all the hits, but at the same time working my off to get stronger.. Then I take my revenge.
Patience is a virtue. If you can master your frustrations and hatred, you will reap a great reward..
