Default Recruiting new players

I can get people to play the game long enough to count as a referral, but I can't get people to get hooked like most of us. What needs to be done to get more active players on facebook? The game took off on myspace just cant seem to get the same type response on facebook.

Default getting people to join

i think we all need to ask r friends and family to join agents it a game that we need more people on and we need to find ways to make people stay on the game so maybe if we started asking new players what is it that would make them stay then we can find some solutions to r problems

Well, for starters, I think a lot of noobs come in and see that the game is already well under way and they feel a little intimidated. They then feel there is no way they can catch up and they quit.
Other reasons range from less excitement/entertainment to less members to everyone being complete strangers to them (with the exception of the person who referred them).
I think hit wars help immensely. And I have found if i simply welcome a noob to the game, they perk up. Offer them help. I didn't say free things. But help, guidance, advice.
Now, the game is underway and others may leave due to this. But thats no reason to do a reset. Resets suck. That took the wind out of me in gulf. I finally built up and worked my way toward the ladder and finally got the best house, only to have it reset. I voted against that. Some liked it. I hope it never happens on here.

Facebook is the more popular social networking site by far. They make it so you can not get all of those crazy adds and have sex bots bugging you. There set up is a little better for only getting your friends and family. With that said. You will have to find people from games on myspace and try to get them to join you over on facebook. As far as getting them hooked on the game. That is more of a challenge. To really get hooked. You are talking about a really small percentage of the people that play. Then how long are they hooked. I have been on JHL since the beginning. I have slowed my play way down. Through the whole year I have seen the game have some really hooked players. Now, I see new faces and a lot of the old ones are gone.

Yeah just look up the rankings on alexa. Facebook has myspace beat by a good amount.

Facebook ranked 2 out of all of the sites on alexa

facebook.com - Site Info from Alexa

Myspace ranked 12th out of all sites on alexa

myspace.com - Site Info from Alexa

Just in case you are interested. Here is a list of the top site on there. Google has #1 on look down.

Alexa Top 500 Global Sites

Note the ranking may have changed by the time you read this. The site is always updated.

Well I've noticed on Facebook there aren't as many younger people and a large percentage on myspace are under 20.
(No offence to anyone older)
But helping someone does make them want to play more fer sure.
Well as long as you're helping with a little bit of cash cause the beginning is probably the hardest part.
