referrals
This is just my observation, but admins give away points for referrals to get people to actually come and play the game. I have noticed a few people that have a lot of referrals, but none of their referrals actually play. They add the app, then they never log back in to play. Maybe it should be made a rule, that if your referrals do not play and are inactive for 30 days, then you loose that referral. You also use referrals to get houses. So when you loose the referrals and you don't have enough referrals to buy a house that you are already in, then you loose the house, just like if you don't have enough money to pay the taxes.

The real point behind a referral incentive is to get the entire count up. Count goes up, the game gets noticed, more people stop in. The more that stop in, the more likely to stick around. Yeah, it would be great if everyone someone brought in played, but the reality is that will never happen.

In a way, being an addict is very proactive."

Ummmmmmm no! First off like seker said the whole point is to get the numbers up. It helps the games get noticed more and others will get curious and check out the games. Just cause another player has tons of referrals and you might not doesn't mean that he is cheating cause they dont play! It seems like your ranting cause another player has passed you up in some way just cause of referrals! Maybe you should work harder to get referrals! As well it helps to know which game you are talking about cause incase you havent noticed there are 3 doc forums 1 for myspace 1 for facebook and 1 for .coms! Please post in the correct forum ty!

Ok on the other hand I know there are a few people that bring people in where they not only are playing but the spent real money on the game. On the same token if you are to lose what you earned. Shouldn't you also get extra if who you brought in are doing great things. Nah it will stay the same. Admin knows that is is nothing more then a numbers game. The more eyes you control the more money you will make. Sales 101.

Yes it can be simple if you figure out the right system that best fits you.
